As the main feature within our supervisory and control system, SCA provides integration with the information system of the company (MES, ERP).

During the year, our expert team was develop a special software module for managing recipes, raw materials, orders and tracking statistics.

Thanks to the automated mode of operation of the factory, a minimum number of employees is required to manage and control production.

Fodder factories consist of the following technological units:

  • Input and storage of raw materials,
  • Grinding,
  • Dosing and weighing of individual components,
  • Adding oil, fat or molasses,
  • Pelletizing,
  • Extrusion,
  • Mixing,
  • Packaging and storage of finished products.

For each technological unit, we are able to apply previous experiences, but also to recognize and apply innovations, so that the end user provides a quality final product for further distribution.

SCADA MODULES

Our specialty are SCADA systems for fodder factories. However, often the SCADA system and it’s components are not sufficient for development of typical applications.

For these reasons, SCA has developed dedicated modules that extend the standard functionalities of the SCADA system:

  • module for managing raw materials, recipes and orders,
  • module for production statistics with the possibility of integration with the company’s business information system,
  • recipe import module compatible with recipe optimization softwares,
  • module for dosing and measuring raw materials, grinding and mixing.

Vertical integration

The great advantage of using SQL databases with SCADA system is easy integration into existing MES (Manufacturing execution systems) and ERP (Enterprise resource planning) systems, allowing uninterrupted data flow throughout the organization. Ascending vertical integration is a strategy for integrating a SCADA system with a parent company information system (MES, ERP).

The advantages of vertical integration are:

  • greater degree of control over the consumption of raw materials,
  • elimination of risks from unstable sources of procurement,
  • monitoring the quantity of finished products,
  • greater efficiency in production,
  • optimization of production costs and their reduction.

Vertical integration can reach full potential.

For many years, SCA as part of the delivery of SCADA systems, perform integration with the company’s business information systems, in order to optimize production.
